Tanuja Rushed To Hospital, Admitted With Ajay Devgn’s Mom
Veteran actress, Tanuja, was taken to the same hospital as Ajay’s mom, Veena, three days ago, for fluctuating diabetes
Last month, Ajay Devgn, who had flown to Jodhpur to
film Bhushan Kumar and Milan Luthria’s upcoming action thriller,
Baadshaho, had to cut his trip short and return to Mumbai. Reason? His
mother, Veena’s health had taken a turn for the worse and she was rushed to a
Santa Cruz hospital.
Water had accumulated in her lungs and she was directly
admitted to the ICU where she is currently recuperating. Reports suggest that
since then, Ajay tends to his ailing mother during nights between shoots while
wife Kajol takes over in the day.

Now, it has been reported that Kajol’s mother, Tanuja,
too was rushed to the same hospital three days ago for fluctuating
diabetes. She has been admitted in the same ward as Veena. The entire floor has
been cordoned off with the hospital staff tending to both matriarchs.
It is also being said that this is the fourth time
Veena has been admitted to the hospital following a relapse.
On the professional front, once Ajay’s mother is
discharged, the actor will resume shooting for Baadshaho, which also stars
Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta. The film, reports suggest, is
a period drama which is set in the backdrop of the emergency period and
revolves around stolen gold with four major characters getting involved in the
theft.

Kajol, on the other hand, began shooting for her Tamil
film, Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, along with Dhanush late last month. The
film, directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, is the sequel to the latter's hit
flick VIP. This film marks her comeback to the Tamil industry
after two decades. Her debut Tamil film Minsara Kanavu released in
1997.
Meanwhile, it’s rumoured that she might be playing a
negative character, on the lines of Ramya Krishnan’s Neelambari
from Padayappa. Although no official announcement has been made so
far regarding her role, reliable sources have confirmed that she plays the MD
of a Mumbai-based company and that Dhanush will take her head on.

well soon.
